Anu George

Welcome

In the early days of IJM, we held firm to our hope that justice for vulnerable people was possible and could only have imagined the people who would come together to make this dream a reality. Just a few years ago, when I was leading teams in South Asia, I simply could not have anticipated the impact and system transformation we are seeing right now. The partners who have come around this idea, bringing their strengths and combining them with ours. Yet there is still so far to go. As we look to truly scale this work to protect half a billion people from violence, we need you to partner with us here in Canada to combine your strength with ours. We all know the adage, “the world needs more Canada.” Truly I can tell you that the world is waiting. Join us.

With gratitude,

Anu George Canjanathoppil
CEO, IJM Canada

    Violence Against Women and Children

Violence affects billions of women and children around the world, and those living in poverty are some of the most vulnerable. In the face of abuse, IJM and our partners collaborate with local authorities to build communities where all people can expect to be safe and protected.

    Slavery

Slavery is illegal almost everywhere-but today millions of children, women and men are trapped in slavery around the world. IJM’s model to end slavery has over 25 years of experience and has proven time and again that this crime will ultimately be defeated.
