International Justice Mission has worked alongside Philippine authorities for 20 years—first combating sex trafficking in brothels, bars and on the streets and transitioning as a disturbing trend emerged— young children were being sexually abused online for profit.

In 2016 IJM Philippines began to focus on ending the online sexual exploitation of children (OSEC).

OSEC is a crime that thrives in the shadows, hidden in private chats and livestreams on the internet where customers anywhere in the world pay and direct sexual abuse from their own homes. And to protect children around the world who are vulnerable to exploitation online right now, everyone must commit to do the hard work that brings OSEC into the light.
