Book a Speaker!

Jamie McIntosh, Executive Director

Ed Wilson, Director of Operations

"Jamie McIntosh is a leader who demonstrates reasoned and legitimate passion. He is passionate about knowing Jesus more. He speaks passionately on behalf of the poor. He motivates people to make passionate responses to the challenges of obeying God's word.

Should your church or a group within your church be looking for a speaker who will motivate people to action, I would encourage you to invite Jamie. He brings first hand experiences of the way God is working around the world through organizations such as International Justice Mission. He
combines that with a studied application
of the Word of God. I am sure your
place of ministry will benefit
enormously.

IJM is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. Mr. Forbes joined IJM Canada in June of 2009.  In his role as Regional Representative, Mr. Forbes builds relationships with IJM donors living in Ontario, meets with potential new donors, promotes opportunities for engagement in the work of justice, and seeks to raise the profile of IJM in the Christian and broader communities across Ontario. He travels within the region to speak at churches and to other groups about IJM’s mission and our response to global human rights issues.

Prior to joining IJM, Mr. Forbes gave leadership to Kids Alive International Canada for ten years as a founding Board member, Executive Director and Director of Development.  Mr. Forbes organized Kids Alive in Canada with the goal of helping destitute and unprotected orphans in the country of Zambia, where the AIDS pandemic continues to ravage. Mr. Forbes has served on several other boards and helped found other ministry organizations including His Kids International and the Canadian Centre for World Mission.  Mr. Forbes is the author of a book, Save Your Husband, a practical guide for helping men attacked by burn out and depression.  Mr. Forbes received a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, and a Masters of Theological Studies from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, Ontario.
